چکیده

Urbanization is causing fragmentation of natural areas and impacting urban wildlife populations. Sustainability their habitat in arboriculture has focused on three key areas: retaining snags beneficial-tree features (e.g., hollows/cavities), education arborists the public, adoption systems-level thinking into (i.e., consideration risk matrices pruning objectives). We surveyed 805 using an international online survey to examine how perceive these conservation sustainability forest management. Systems-level was highest rated method for support wildlife, followed by snags. Education involvement groups received lower ratings, retainment branches with hollows or cavities lowest ratings. In selecting important factors snag retainment, were most concerned tree targets, setting (urban versus rural) use wildlife. Other that are concern ecologists less respondents. Our findings continued ecology which focuses whole/complex systems develop sustainable management practices benefit
